Cross climates are great tyres, I can’t see me ever buying winters over them again.

Interesting to hear the real-life views on all-seasons.

I did read (and think it’s maybe already been mentioned in this thread) that all-seasons actually suit a typical British winter better than full M+S tyres.

I do like to change the wheels in the winter, just for a different look and to get the diamond cut wheels away from the salt so I think summer tyres and all-season tyres may be the right combo for our climate.

Edit to add- having said that, the winters on the Skoda needed replaced this winter but I didn’t bother, have just kept it on the summers.
Plan is to swap the summer tyres out for all-seasons when those need replaced as I’m sure all seasons will be fine on that all-year as it never gets driven hard at all.

I run my mums car on Cross Climates all year as she doesn’t drive fast so no issues with them overheating.

On my cars I will switch back to PS4’s in the summer.

Winters are obviously great in the snow, problem being that’s only about 10 days a year depending where you stay obviously, but personally I don’t like the way winters handle in the wet or dry if you push them slightly hard as the tread blocks start moving about.

Imo Cross Climates are a great compromise for our climate as you said, work excellent in the wet which is far more useful than working excellent in the snow for me plus are great in the dry but obviously not as good as a PS4. They are also pretty good in the snow too, far better than a summer tyre.

That’s good to know Mike, did wonder how good they were in snow.

The Bridgestone runflats I have on the 335 were surprisingly terrible in the small amount of snow we had a few weeks back.
PS4s and cross-climates sounds like the ideal combo.
