Has this place died on its arse?

Post by kenny » Fri Aug 16, 2024 9:56 pm

Hello

Long time.

not sure when I last logged on here, maybe 10 years ago? I miss the banter but I guess we move on and grow old, dont think they are making that many Lotus for the yoof.

My Exige still exists, I'll never sell it, still scares my whenever I take it out from hibernation. Been thinking, tentatively, about getting back into trackdays and maybe a campaganza of sorts if they still exist.

Hey Kenny!

Forum still works well for those of us not on Facebook.

Considering a Campaganza proposal for September but need to clarify my work diary first.

Hope to see you at Knockhill

Hi Kenny,

Welcome back!
Many of us old boys are still here in Lotus land………….
Various mediums have taken over the traditional bulletin boards, nothing sinister, just a sign of the times, WhatsApp groups mainly
Get booked for some LoT track days, you’ll love them :thumbsup

Cheers
Clark

Anyway, if I start trackdays again I am justing thinking about costs and stuff. My tyres are 10 years old... Not kidding, car had done 1000 miles in the last 5 years;

I probably need, 4 x Toyo R888(cos I like them ok) 4x brake pads and 4x new brake discs. Is Stu Pollock still on here? the lad used to sort me out with discs.
The car has been very, very well looked after by Craig Moncrieff, it just needs to become the shed that you know and love again.

Make sheds great again.
