Anyone been to Auxerre, France?

I'm going on a trip to watch the "football" at the end of november and was wondering if anyone has paid this place a visit, any ideas on what to expect with pubs/clubs ? Flights accomodation etc. are all sorted just wondering if were walking into a time warp !?

I've been, but as a kid, so pubs & clubs weren't high on my agenda

Well I'm off to sunny or not sunny and pissin of rain France tomorrow, wed. night Paris then thursday in Auxerre, I'll try and bring back some pics that are able to be posted on here

domestically there shakey but in europe apart from the away leg to Molde they've played good footy. I think that's PLG's forte though nice passing footy and no hash bash kicks etc. which you get in the scottish league.

great result for the tic last night, I hope the Gers can pick up 3 points also

Well the trip to Auxerre was complete success, although the night in Paris on wed. was the highlight of the trip I do have some pics which I'll try and post up
