Brilliant.

Mates dad did the same - got to Glasgow Airport, new M5 gone - called cops, they came, called tracker - activated.

Sitting in the taxi on the way home, tracker called to tell him what carpark he had left it in....

No internet humiliation though like this guy!

dont take the piss... it could easily happen to you. I know someone who worked on the platform I am on who reported his car stolen when it was not in front of his house ther next morning.... it wasnt until about 3 months later, after the insurance had paid out and he bought a new car that he went an alternative route home from the office and found it parked less than 300 yards from his house.......

............needles to say, everything that was reported missing in the boot was rapidly recovered using the key he still had at home in the drawer. To my knowledge it may still be there.. dont think he contacted anyone to let them know where it was.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Honestly though, poor guy!

Crums 3months...and still couldnt remember?! ....was he 85(?)

It probably happened to all of us to much smaller extents, after all it is a cherished car, and panic is a natural reaction when you forget where you parked it. Ive woken on a Sunday thinking it was Monday and late for a patient when at dental school. I went a bit nuts for 2minutes till my parents told me "shut up, get back to bed, its Sunday!!!"
