You could empty 2 tanks in 100 miles at vmax...

2.3 mpg at 253 mph.

12 mins per tankfull (plus fillup time) gives you half an hour of fun...

The more that I see it the more I like it. Looks like a mountain lion about to pounce.

It actually has very clean, muscular lines, with no apparent spoilers, wings, etc. Plus on its Evo road test, it blew the rest into the weeds, including the Enzo.

However, look at the hire firms prices, and a Lambo P640 is £1,500 for the same 24hrs.

It's still a cynical marketing excercise which is far too heavy and requires far too many electronics to operate... Interior looks like a cheap tart's boudoir as well..... (not that I imagine you know what one of those looks like

Agreed Shug, the weight is momentous, the whole concept is anti PC, but is it not good that someone still does it, and thumbs their noses at what is about to be imposed on us, well you lot, in the near future?

The fact that it is outrageous is what we should aplaud, that a company was prepared to spend a silly amount of money, go years over schedule, just to produce the most powerful and fastest car in the world, then sell it at a loss? McLaren did it ten years ago, but at half the weight.

Even with a spare million I would not buy one, I would have the ultimate S1 Elise, but I sure as hell would like to have a shot in one.

I used to come back to London from Oman to interview potential pilots for the Sultans Air Force. Stayed at a suite in Claridges for the week, and used the best Escort Agency in London to supply the female companionship.

I could not understand why they wen't so overboard with the gadgets you can't see/don't care about for example, why have hydraulics for the rear wing thing complete with a radiator for hyd fluid! They weren't exactly on a minimum weight mission here were they...

Distinctly dissapointing at Goodwood because it was driven by a wet blanket. The new fezza on the other hand was stuffed into a haybail at warp 9 when the tit understeered off the track and the McLaren-Mercedes set its carbon ceramic brakes on fire when it was taken for a 1.5 mile burnout by a BTTC driver
