Well my daughter is piling on the ounzes now and will soon be too big for baby seat #1. She's been out with me in the Elise loads of times but now I need to get a "stage 2" baby seat. Has anyone tried this for the Elise and could recommend one?

The Recaro Start is a well made seat and optional extras are available to custom fit it to a growing child. Looks cool too so kids happier to use it.
Here is one fitted on my old S2 (It looks black in real life)
and a shot of one fitted to an S1
Available from Halfords

The Recaro is the one,Fits the Elise perfect, still using the seat now,and Steven is 10
If you can still get it ,the Recaro is the one to go for

Thanks guys, I'll have a look for the Recaro one, nice to see its possible to fit one though

She's gonna look like a BTCC driver in that, I'll need to get her an open face helmet to complete the look

I've just bought a maxicosi one which fits in well. Doesn't look as good as the recaros though, to be fair.

Weve got a Maxi Cosi Rodi XP and a Maxi Cosi Priory XP (now on our second ones after my wifes smash) but none of which fit in my Exige seats! The only one that fitted in both my S1 and S2 was the Recaro Start (now permanently in the Exige). And it works with a Harness!!!
