1st picture doesn't look like too much of a serious accident, just drove off the road, messed up the front of the truck, everyone should be ok...

The deformed crash barrier appears to be on the other side of the culvert though!

The pics don't make sense so I don't really believe it happened as the story suggests.

OT, but I have an old friend who survived a fall pretty much like that.

Walked away with only stitches (quite a few mind you)
He was blind drunk at the time (when else would you fall over a cliff?) and the consensus at the hospital was that being pissed saved his life.:beer

He woke up the next day with a very sore head and no recollection of anything :roll:
