Dundee night out on Friday

Post by simon » Wed Dec 21, 2005 2:12 pm

Anyone one in the area fancy meeting for a few drinks on Friday night (23rd)? Myself and Scott D are probably meeting up somewhere so let us know.

Cheers

Si.

was in Dundee and was out last night - soz. Consider yourself saved from a night on wine, whisky and then VK Blue (head still buzzing!) in fatties.

Can't believe the Mardi has closed down  Oh the true 'Theatre of Dreams'. RIP.

We were in Fatties too! I didn't stay long, had to go meet Lorraine and find a taxi home. It was weird cos I overheard a guy in the taxi queue say he was going to Arbroath so I asked if he wanted to share. So we were chatting in the taxi and it turns out he knew my dad, a couple of friends of mine from Arbroath and goes to the dry ski slope at Condor that I usually go to. It's a small world.

The Mardi shut ages ago, a good thing if you ask me but it means everyone who went there now goes to Fatties, which is a bad thing :thumbsdown

True, however the pond-life appear to be gravitationally challenged and never leave the first floor. The second floor seems to be full of gum chewing pill-heads, while the third floor is just about right.

I think I'm getting old!

Hmm, I thought the 2nd floor was best :?
It's what Fatties always used to be.
