I think that would have been combined with the studio filming of a normal TG.albutch wrote:I thought the show was funny but I did feel sorry for the audience who probably waited four years for tickets.

I don't watch much telly but Top Gear is incredibly funny IMHO
I like a laugh, and boy were there lots of them. The show is incredibly well scripted even though it looks the opposite, almost as good as an SE trip to Europe.
and the next person to phone me at 8pm on a Sunday night had better be careful........

I have used them in the past when towing to events. Once used them in two motorsport / rally prepped cars on the way to an event. Had almost as much fun on the way to & from the event as we did at the event.pete wrote:Excellent entertainment..
Am I the only one who, after watching it, wanted to get a CB for the Elise?
It'd be useful for TT?
TG was absolutely hilarious! Can't believe that sh!t with the rednex.
We got little hand-held radios when we were skiing in France last week and they came in very handy (and were also hilarious when we joined in other people's conversations on other channels!
). Got me thinking that they'd be useful for Elise road runs. The range was quite good if I remember right . . . would be useful for when the pack of cars splits up.
I guess they would probably fall under the same laws as mobiles though . . .

And have you seen how much they cost? Check on Ebay, they are virtualy free. A whole new starter kit fromhere is only 70 quid. Admittedly getting the magnetic aerial base to stick on may be difficult but they do a bee sting aerial, and I never use the radio.

(possible danger of making it look from a distance as if the Elise is radio controlled).

tried them before with Motorola ones between Elises but too hard to make out what people were saying (could be my hearing , or lack of it)dezzy wrote: Got me thinking that they'd be useful for Elise road runs.
