Borders Police Vehicle

Post by delands » Sun Feb 18, 2007 1:22 pm

Guys,

Just for a heads up that the Police around our neck of the woods (A702) are running around in a silver pickup truck as a demo. Nothing noticable from behind and slight wording at the sides with few blue flashers at top.
Neighbour had dealings with them last night!
They were in our cul-de-sac yesterday on another matter, so I took a photo.
I will post the pic as soon as I get it downloaded from phone.
They told my neighbour that there is another unmarked vehicle but they didnt say what it was.

Worth knowing about. I have noticed a few speed traps round our way recently (in Romano Bridge, Mountain Cross, and between Dolphinton and West Linton), but will keep my eye peeled for this one. Seems an unusual car for the police to have.

Spotted your car in West Linton main street on Saturday, bye the way. Looking immaculate!

Thanks, will keep an eye out for that one.

Mark, pity the speed traps weren't further along the A701. I lost count of the number of bikes doing 120+ past the house at the weekend.
