Walshy Days

Post by caleebra » Sun Mar 11, 2007 9:30 pm

Alright folks?!? 8)

I see that Mr Walsh cannot run days at Crail any more :( Has anyone ever made the loooooong road trip down from Scotland to North Weald? It's about as far away as it could be from Aberdeen!

£500 is a bit steep to borrow their S2 for the day!! If it was a VX might be worth it

Loads of us have, the drive isnt too bad. Me and Tom managed Embra to North Weald in about 5 and half hours in time for a few shandies.

Well worth the trip.

It's something I've wanted to do since I bought the car... I had a day booked the last time Tut co-ordinated some places at Crail in 2005 but then some twat ran into the back of me and left me carless!!

I wonder if I can get W.A.F. (wife approval factor) for a wee "long weekend" trip to Essex-ish :)

We combined it with a trackday at Cadwell Park the following day, which breaks up the journey a bit and gives you further opportunity to practice what you have learned at North Weald.

i believe you can now hire walshy's S2 at a very reduced rate due to a reduction in insurance costs... drop him an email..
