My poor ears - NLC

Not content with taking son, Richard, to Trivium/ Slayer concert last week at Glasgow Carling (fair enough he had a couple o girls with him), he now wants me to take him to see Machine Head/ Lamb of God and Chimaira (though he is taking another girl) ... anyone want to swap a son?

Top choices by Richard bring him along to Stewarton anytime and he can play his music as loud as he likes he will get on great with my son Craig and me - I have all ready seen most of those bands and loved them

Am trying to guess how one distinguishes one band from another coz doof, doof, doof, doof, huwwwa, huwwa, huwwa, doof, doof, doof, doof sounds the same regardless..... though somehow, I did manage to get to the conclusion that Slayer were slightly better than Trivium fwiw.

I may have to submit to the pressures and buy said tickets since no valid swaps have came in.... You reading this, Noel Edmonds?

Was going to suggest a swop with my step daughters. Would prefer heavy metal to two girls in their early 20's running around drinking tart fuel with all their mates screaming at each other, leaving cloths and wet towels everywhere, while the repetative sh!te they call dance music competes, I was going to say in the background. But its not.

You could always go to the gig with him and that way you will be able to determine who is singing and the style of the guitarist. Or I could lend you loads of CDs.
