You will not go down the same line as our friends from the south. A caterham is itself a copy of a lotus 7.

Up here in the north a 7 be it a classic 1960's lotus 7 or a tatty old robin hood are all 7s. Some may be better then others some may be faster then others. But unless it is a genuine lotus 7 then they are all copies.

Also you may find quite a few westys give you a shock at how quick they are

Here ends the lecture

Though the jury is still out on Johns lotusham which is half and half.

Comments were intended as tongue in cheek in a similar way to the good natured VX bashing that goes on.

Same car advertised on the WSCC forum here:
http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/iko ... =9;t=51423

All the guys posts related to the car here:
http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/iko ... ef19e279b2

I suppose a shifty through that lot will reveal if there have been any issues.

The guy who the bloke bought the car from, as he mentions in his WSCC advert, .. Jeff Cooper Cars... http://www.jcoopercars.co.uk/ does a fair bit of dealing in Westfields and is a regular poster on WSCC. No doubt he could give additional info on the car.
