Any 4x4 Trial enthusiasts or green laners out there?

Post by MRpunchinella » Mon May 14, 2007 8:37 am

Morning all....will be posting in classifieds ( be kind Eds  ) but im just making enquiries on behalf of my uncle. Tom has been a serious off road competitor for many years and although a bit elderly now, a number of strokes and althheimers have taken their toll Image. He has a full garage of things including a pillarless Daimler V12 Image and a 1938 6cyl Sunbeam Talbot Supreme...of which there are 3 left running apparently in the world.....his isnt....

He had hand formed running boards and the radiator etc before failing health has left him almost house bound. My aunt is in the advanced stages of MS too, which doesnt help much..... :(

So..we have 4 super mud plugger tyres on Alaskan wheels and 4 Int Maxi cross studded on Rangerover wheels to 'take away'..a modest offer of a couple of bob would be polite but we are clearing the garage.....

Oh, there is also a L/R 90 with a 3.5 Rover on Rangerover chassis and diffs with a 3 speed auto box, straight exhaust that ive seen free rev to oblivion to take away. Tom says she would start with love and its built to hammer to death...yours or its ! 8) been sitting outside for donkeys but she is free ....... there are an asembly of axles and series 3 panels etc but i think we need to get the lot scrapped.

A bloke took away his V8 racing engine that he built......was in a landy but it was "too fast to race on dirt son"......got it for a grand and i know its now sitting in a field cause the twit doesnt know what to do with it.....

Sorry eds...will post in classifieds too but its a genuine request for anyone who is interested...we need to clear the floors to say......its heart breaking but a dose of facing the truth for the family.

cheers
