I think that looks really, really cool! I preferred the top one of those last ones Andy, as I like the bolder colour of the logo, and I think the grey (and white) Scottish works better too. Now that Iv seen it on Scotty's car, I agree the car lines definately do need to be bolder, and maybe the font a point or two smaller, just to draw more attention to the actual picture?

Jen

PS - I'l happily add money to the beer fund as a thank you for doing this so far!

cool, like the idea of se clothing, i need some new rags. Re the stickers, always felt the url wasn't quiet prominent enough.

A general comment on the overall style below as we are going through a large rebranding exercise at work and have been talking to other companies who have done the same. Apparently if you have a figure, item etc in your logo that has a 'front' and a 'back' or face, it is considered best to always have this facing forwards. Positivity, forward thinking, good karma, feng-shwaaay....call it what you like!(bullsh*t ? ) A major Canadian bank changed the direction its lion was facing for this reason. Probably more apt for business logos, but thought I'd mention it as sure your guy could inverse the direction of the car quite easily.

cheers.

Food for thought.....personally I think feng-shwaaay is load of BS thought up by some dude wanting to cash in on stoopid Westerners!
Is left backwards and right forwards......do the Chinese not read books backwards or is that forwards :? I'm telling ya....the Chinese have got us well sussed. In my line of work things facing left are uphole and things facing right are downhole.....confused....me too.

But....maybe if you were standing in the pit lane watching cars go by at KH then the car is facing the correct way :thumbsup

Which makes me want to ask a (maybe stupid) question.....are all tracks clockwise?!

Seriously though......we'll keep it as it is unless a massive surge for flipping comes in.

Do we have more designs from other people yet or are we going to choose between the ones I have posted.....but hang fire as I have a t-shirt now and the word Scottish is in a different, more modern, font. Philip will thicken/make the car more prominent on the logo. Maybe next week now as he is really busy.

Cheers for all the input folks :thumbsup

I think it's going through a good evolution, get the final changes done and get a vote going.

Interlagos would require a sticker facing the other way.

I will try and remember to hang the T-shirt in the helmet store during the track part of TT. For those that didn't get a chance to see it I will ensure it is at Tuts house also :thumbsup

Well.......did you all get a chance to look at the t-shirt hanging up in the helmet store during the track part of TT?
What did you think of the logo?
Mike Stout should be looking more into the merchandise once he gets back from offshore so hopefully he'll have some goodies we can all buy before too long.......
I guess we still need to do some form of voting for this :?
Will try and get a short list of designs drawn up so we can vote :thumbsup

Scotty, I was at a presentation this morning and was given 'Security and Communication News' Summer 2010. Which has a pic and brief paragraph about them sponsoring you :thumbsup

Will try and get it scanned and posted up.

Won't be able to get any gear for FF I'm afraid. Mike Stout should be picking up on the merchandise when he gets back onshore on 30th.

I hope the SE sticker stayed out Scott :D

Jen, got Tut to give the t-shirt away as a prize at Knockhill.
