Tut the Legend

I've spoken with Stuart at Knockhill (they posted up on FB and twitter earlier this week about Tut's passing), and Stuart said that Knockhill would be happy to do a Tut memorial trophy for the best/fastest Lotus at SLS rounds, or something similar that his family would be happy with. Over to you guys to get your thinking caps on...

Hopefully catch up with a few of you tomorrow, when I'm sure there will be many happy tales recalled

Can SIDC get insurance cover for timed laps at KH?

I was thinking of a regular trackday where we get together and give each person three laps and each lap has to be as close to the same time as the previous ones.

The person who can do their three laps within the closest time wins. Not the three fastest times, but the three which are closest together. After that is finished, we can revert to an open pit lane.

Just my idea for something different.

Steve, bear in mind that 3 laps for 40 cars is 2 hours at KH or there abouts.
Unless everyone is on track at the same time which would require transponders.

I'd definitely have to adjust my style to compete for the Tut trophy, go back to how I drove the Evo perhaps, it found the gravel now and then and was partial to a sausage kerb here and there.
