Went to see Steve Wozniaks talk in Edinburgh this week and he was wearing Mr Humbles dream watch.

Looking for some advice, have my Dad'ds old Omega and keep to start wearing it although the old scraggy strap has seen better days. Suggestions for a suitable strap ? Was thinking the shiny lack leather job but dont know if it will work with this colour of face.

Does it have fixed bars or spring bars Sanjoy? Only reason I ask is that the strap currently on it looks like an open ended one...

I think they are spring, I recall my Dad having problems with them coming off regularly.

Compared it to my daily TW Steel Canteen and it is very very small!

I enjoy reading this thread but rarely have reason to post. Was chuffed to get my 'smart' watch batteried up today, it's first outing since I got married. It's not a valuable watch by any means but I really enjoy the design points on it. Hidden crown wheel under the strap, metal clasp system on a leather band and the 44mm face. Clean and a simple lines.

Nixon do an Automatic watch which shares similar looks that I've been eyeing up for a potential future acquisition but the money stakes go up quite steeply for that one.

Frustration is sitting looking at the "you weren't in" card from the Royal Mail and knowing your new watch is waiting for you.....
