Was in Livi in the VX on Monday, that was an adventure. New Bridgestones seem to be doing their job though!

Will 14's fit mate with yours being a "Sport" Ka? Bigger brakes and wider arches?

I had that plan for Lynda's as its on 17" wheels with the standard wheels lying in the garage being 16"....still £80 a corner!

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Will look into it first obviously, but i think it should be ok. I think the brakes are still pretty tiny, but no idea about wheel arches. cheers though

I still can't get my VX out of the garage! And I'm supposed to be taking it to Kames on Sunday. This was my driveway on Wednesday:

The main roads are not great but driveable. The streets are crazy it took me more than an hour to get from the end of my street to my driveway earlier

Apparently the 14th hole was skiing well!

see http://www.winterhighland.info for full reports :-)

Was tempted to head over there today with the family, but too busy prepping for a week away at Strathyre Cabins. Might try to hit Glencoe one day through the week though.

Snow tyres are probably a better option as these are speed limited to 50kph and will be quickly torn to shreds on tarmac. They're good to have in the car as an insurance policy though in case you get stuck - hasn't happened to me yet but is probably only a matter of time....
