You mean surpass the limit at the first corner
Dave, I have nothing against your decision of purchasing a C4S. I think the wide body looks cool and the interior is virtually the same.
I am just telling as is. Comparing the two cars, C4s understeers a lot more. It's a fact. However, a friend of mine who owned the C4S for the last 6/7 years didn;t realise it understeered more compared to the C2 until the other day.
If we go on a run together, we can swap the cars and you will see what I mean.
Enjoy

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I am not questioning your choice of purchase......................I love them all
I still lust after the 356 which is probably the most flawed of the marque!
I just find this thread far more interesting than the "The End of Lotus" stuff which is constantly being debated.......... and par for the course on a Lotus forum .........FFS!
I will however criticise any efforts on your part to change from " Teutonic to Teuchter " with a Harris Tweed makeover!

meh.. question away peeps... always happy to explain why I'm always right.
Oh and you'll see... Tweed will take my Elise to a whole new level. Actually ... maybe a tweed / tartan combo could work.. I'm a GENUIS!!
I hereby trademark the new material ..... I shall call it.... TWATAN !!!

As far as winter weather goes... quite topical today... my C4S on summer tires has been superb in the snow without the need for a set of ebay wheels and a second set of tires. Almost like another reason I chose it over a 2wd .. but don't let that get in the way of a good argument.
Hmmm one for the winter tyres thread probably, but given the choice of 4x4 or winter tyres on a 2wd......no contest.

Grip, stability and more crucially braking performance all vastly superior on the winters.....AND you get to drive a better car into the bargain

Jeremy
4x4 on winter tyres would kick ass no matter what the 2wd is on.
4x4 wins.

Just close the thread down now. Nothing is more awesome than that.
