acht RWD is fine with the right shoes and disabling of electronic crap. Good winters make the world of difference, i ran my E46 M3 for two winters in Insch doing 14k a year through the snow in '12 and '13 no problem at all, including trips to the rellies in easter ross and all the crofts. never got stuck once, surprisingly capable. Ride height made the biggest difference to getting stuck. do drop down a size at least also watch widths, usually go a bit narrower. Should be in the book for the car, i bought a set of BMW winters from a BMW dealer in Germany for my wives 1er.

concur on ride, we had asymmetric eagle run flats om the 5, changes for fallen 452's i think it was originally, massively better.

What's your thoughts on the ACS springs? Was thinking of fitting them to my F31 but was thinking of waiting until after winter in case I need the slightly higher height during winter?

Is your 335d an X drive as I believe that on the X drive versions with the M Sport the car doesn't come with the sports springs so if rwd yours could be lower and stiffer than mine from factory ?
I really like the ACS, the handling and ride quality is brilliant and the lowering is pretty subtle so not slammed to the ground like some set ups. Money well spent :thumbsup
