Driving my Westfield Megablade on an Elise night of all things! (15/6/2006)
Came out the hairpin, on the gas,
engine ceased, back wheels locked up & car went into a spin - right at the pit lane wall in front of about 100 people !
good entertainment for them i suppose, but the repair cost me about £6000!

Then the Mrs told me i had to sell the car once i got it repaired.
so, the agreement was to get an Elise instead,
as it is MORE PRACTICAL! (ie. it has got a windscreen, windscreen wipers and a roof !

As it stands at the moment, there are 41 entries that would like to do the track session on the Sunday, and I will have 35 places.

That is no problem, as there will be further additions and some drop outs, so I will sort that out closer to the time.

For the Friday night track session I need around 50 to keep the cost at £40, at present there are 20, but that will increase as I have only just posted. I would think that all those that want to do Sundays short session, would also like to do Fridays if they are able to.

I am only surmising, they have never done an evening track session before on the Friday for the Speedfair Show, but this could be quite something for us considering the weekends gathering.

Also, unlike Sunday, it is not limited to Lotus only. Andy can come along in his Atom, Don in his Evo, (both will get dicked of course) and any other of our regulars.

So I suppose tis a case of watch this space.........

I've stuck my name on the database for Sunday (parade & hopefully track session). Just had a thought though. I'm ashamed to admit that I've never been on a track session before. Are helmets compulsory and if so would I be able to hire one at KH? Don't want to splash out and buy one at this stage.
