I look forward to reading about this, but I've just no time whatsoever to get involved I'm afraid :(

I think you'll find I drove it onto the Scrappy's recovery lorry.

One of the most fun things I have done was the MLR500 which consisted of buying a shed (Mitsubishi) for £500 and racing it on a dirt oval for about 4 hours. What a laugh it was, I managed to get a puncture on the warm up by being a bit over keen shall we say, the car had no power steering from about half way through and ended up being thrashed to the finish stuck in 2nd gear bouncing off the limiter for about 20 mins.

Here's vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdvjG0QEHDU

Anyway i know of a possible venue for a dirt oval race in Fife as a final challenge. :thumbsup Not sure actual tracktime would work as the essense should be on cheap (free) fun with few rules!!

So I'd be up for it. :thumbsup

:withstupid

that looked like a good race :damnfunny

Used to take the "racing Beemer" grass testing - it was sh*t - but HILARIOUS fun - think i was second slowest next to the "serious" competitors (who needs nobblies or rally tyres ffs!), but not one of them got a round of applause when they got back to the pits, steam pissing out of the bonnet, having been sideways from start to finsh and laughing my ass off :thumbsup
