Dominic wrote: Apparently. it is a legal requirement to carry the instructions for the car seat with it, and the police have been known to book people for not having the instructions. Anyone heard of this? I will put my instructions in the little container for them tonight.
Our first car seat (still in use) is a Maxicosi Cabriofix. It took us 4 months to discover the plastic cover that hides the compartment for the instructions. We bought it from Amazon, as a frustration free packaging thing, so it came sealed in a clear plastic bag. Good job the manual was already in there!

Our 2nd seat (the extended rear facing Joie Stages - one of the only extended rear facing seats we've found in local retailers) has some little clips that allow the manual to be slotted in. I guess they probably all have some sort of instruction manual fitting mechanism?

Cheers everyone. Due at end of may so have got a lot of time to do some serious planning / procrastinating / gadget shopping before Lazyfoal arrives. Excited and terrified at the same time.

Lol buggy choice is influenced by the fact Mrs donkey has a fiat 500 that she has no intention of selling. So it needs to fit in that! So it's does it fit first, then amusing name :D
