Hi Mass

A nice collection of cars. I had two V12 E-Types Roadsters, one in 1974 and a replacement in 1975, but if those are the original wire wheels, I presume that yours is a 4.2?

Hi Tut

Thanks.

No, the wheels were optional original of the series III (the V12, same as yours). Its a late series III produced in 1974.

A quick hello from a fellow Club Racer Owner.

Who do you use to service the E-Type? as thinking of bringing my old man's toy up to Edinburgh in the new year as its such a waste to see it gathering dust.

Thank you for your comments.

Picked up the club racer yesterday (7 hours round trip to Harrogate)! The car got really dirty on the way back as it was wet, frosty and foggy with lots of salt on the roads......

I need to clean the car before I can post the photos.

Driving the car for 170 miles gave me a little time to get to know the car but I have not experienced any performance yet as the roads were too wet & icy and I cannot rev the engine over 4.5k

The E-type was brought up to Scotland just a few months ago after sitting in a garage in Kent for the last 4 years or so. When I first came to Gala, my house did not have a garage so I had to build one. It took me nearlly 3 years!!!! So the E-type is a non runner at the moment but should not take too much work to get it going again (I hope).

Do you know how much weight is added/saved by the following items?
1. Touring pack
2. Super touring pack
3. Sports pack
4. Light weight wheels
5. Sports exhaust
6. AC

If you guys like a ride in the 360/club racer, drop me an email. I can take you on the local roads (fantastic) when the weather is better in the spring or may be see you at Knockhill.

I will post the photos when I can.

Yeah 48s arent ideal this time of year, espcially new ones! Id check your pressures as they sold me my exige way to high. I used to run 22F/24R which was ideal for me, obviously lower on track.

Dont think you have saved any weight with all of those, id guess you will tip the scales at around 920-940 ish.

Sod the club racer, ill take a pax in the 360!

with the 360 ride posse

Good job getting the CR back in one bit - the roads were brutal yesterday - my Eclass which is normally silver is nearly black!

It's a times like this you look out the window, clock your fiat panda and vx220 and wonder if you made the right choices in life
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I've noticed some of you are a bit far from Galashiels but you are all more than welcome to come down in the spring if you can spare the time.

Ross, hope you are well. I did not have the time to attend many trackdays this year. Hope to do many more next year though. I will most likely be selling the XTR befoe spring to replace it with an SLR/R400.
