On a similar note, I once mentioned to my parents soon after I got the car, how chuffed I was that I now owned a car that appears on "Supercar" calendars - long childhood of dreaming of owning the cars on my bedroom wall.

Now, each and every Christmas, they go out and find me a calendar with an Elise on it - bless 'em 8)
cheers Shug   :D

liking the calendar idea. But then again, I've got the SE calendar so I get an Elise every month... :D :D

Ditto :)

A car that makes you wan't to take "the long way" anywhere has to be something special!!! :)

Example:
I live 0.5 miles from Tescso Corstorphine. Need a pint of milk? Tesco Queensferry here I come. Every time :)
Lotus Elise 111R - Chrome Orange, can't drive it for sh*t spec!
Jaguar XKR 4.0 Supercharged, neglected spec. SOLD!
7 seater Renault Grand Scenic 57 plate, 1.9 DCI (Boring as feck spec)
Forde Freda Campervan! :D

"Chances of the sweeter and more powerful VVC variant making th e transition are slim"

Note a slim Sutcliffe driving .....

Nice one Tom (think I have one or two of the following reviews in the loft - also not stuck together)
Emira - Volvo spec
A1 Black Edition - Ilford HP5 spec
