Anyone know anyone in Glasgow who can trim numberplates??

Anything goes in here.....

Just back from the Number Plate Centre - ace shop - they trimmed my plate and didn't charge me (nice young man!) - thanks for the recommendation (looks not too bad either!)!!

I'm putting mine lower than the bodywork too (and Velcro'ing it on) so to prevent the clam getting scratched if the speed bump/pavement is too high!

Anyway - just want to say thanks!

That's what I do too, lose a number plate every now and again when it falls off and I don't hear iot but better that than a chipped clam (which I've done too).

Heat up a tea-spoon under your gas-hob to seal the edges if you did a DIY job :wink:

I use a jigsaw, fine blade (metal is best) - turn the speed down
then i use a Bench belt sander to do the corners.
takes about 10secs per corner.

great results ...........
