Well it'll also be Scottish Elises' 10th birthday almost precisely around that time, so I guess we do have to do SOMETHING with the trip!

LOL. For precisely those reasons it's probably better we DIDN'T have any pics!

Actually I may have one or two kicking around on old fashioned photographic paper...must have a rummage in the shoe boxes ;-)

OK it's time to get organised.

Action as I understand it:

Friday 17th
- Lotus on Track trackday on Donnie circuit

Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th
- LoT Elise Trophy on Donnie circuit
- Club Lotus show in nearby Exhibition Halls

http://www.lotus-on-track.com/events.html
http://www.elisetrophy.com/Club_Lotus_Show

Option to stop by the PF International Karting circuit near Nottingham en route down or on Saturday (though probably busy then).

http://www.jmkartsport.co.uk/

Main question is who fancies driving down Friday through the day via nice route in the Dales, or who fancies just blasting down late Friday PM?

And, since it's SE's 10th birthday around then, is anyone interested in some "club parking" at the circuit, hopefully fairly close to the exhibition halls? The Elan club did this last year, looked quite cool!! I'm prepared to look into this if there is any interest.

Saturday evening would be the now customary curry at the legendary 4550 Miles from Delhi restaurant. I'm prepared to organise a group booking, add your name below if you wish to be included.

Traditionally we stay at the Premier Inn Nottingham West, £52 per room. Currently has availability but don't hang about as it will probably fill up. Trams run into Notts centre from nearby, for the curry, and it's not far to the M1 junction for access to Donnie circuit. Ideal really.

http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInfo ... elId=23914

Robbie and Stew have also stayed at a nearby Holiday Inn (I think? Do you have details guys?).

The Premier Inn has a reasonable Beefeater attached so you can get a meal on the Friday night (before about 8.30-9pm though, don't leave it any later), and of course brekky each morning.

Note, only the Saturday curry will be organised for you, everything else is up to you but the info you need should be above. Anything missing, let me know.

If anyone fancies organising the karting, feel free! However I do reckon there's already plenty going on across the weekend.

Ok, anyone except Scotty?

Just kiddin' Noticed you had signed up but you are in the super elite Elise trophy group so I am looking/hoping for a smattering of the usual supsects to sign up as well. More fun when on track with a few mates. As it's sessioned (boo) would like to see a few SE'ers for usual fun.

:thumbsup And fine bumpage, I didn't realise a trackday had been arranged, I thought it was Elise Trophy track action only. Now that I see that there is track fun to be had I am keen to go and anxious to bring to the attention of the SE track whores before it sells out, as I suspect it will very soon.
