Happy new year folks. :thumbsup

Had a fairly quiet one. Went to the Panto with philthy and the birds which was embarassing as well as very funny.

Could hear the stage stuff at George Square from the lounge window so had a listen to Paolo Nutini then bed.

Hope 2009 is a good one for everyone :D

One feature of the recession for us was our abandonment of our customary new year break at Strathyre cabins, peak pricing has just got stupid, so hosted dinner for 6 at our place instead. Great night but a bit weird to be home on Ne'er Day!

Jools Holland's Hogmanay Hootenany (sp?) was a great show though. Had tried to search out Groove Armada (Edin Princes St Gardens gig) beforehand but no joy.

Best wishes to everybody for a prosperous, safe and enjoyable 2009. Remember, SE will be 10 years young this year so great cause to celebrate this crazee wee happy band we have all assembled. Official launch of the original OneList group (now YahooGroups) was June 10th 1999, but we were buzzing a raw distribution list from about April or thereabouts I believe and we hooked up for a first "meet" around then too.
