i'm glad your going for it gordon. it'll give me someone to aim for later in the year if/when i get my finger out.

you certainly got the hang of this racing driver malarky quickly. everytime you came into the pits, you ignored and drove past everyone, stopped and beckoned me over, shouted at me, then sped off out the pitlane. a true profesional.

the biggest difference between a quick elise and the caterham race cars is to be seen into the corners. they seem to brake impossibly late compared to the elise (although i still have brake problems) then just fly thru the bends. i was able to be quicker over a lap because of my extra power, but it just goes to show what difference weight can make. time for my car to go on a diet.

anything i can do to help, gimme a shout. i have a towbar if you can borrow a trailer for it.

Not been in his CSR yet but looking forward to it
It sure is  :D . He's a good guy to talk to, doesn't mind spending time chatting about it. His CSR is a total monster. George's got a bit of cash by the looks of things and he's not been shy spending cash on this one. you'll know what i'm talking about with my reaction from my track session then  . Plus it's a good bit quicker with only one person in it. It doesn't have a pax seat....so at the end if the night Ian Cowie flung a cushion on the pax floor....fires in some harnesses and took me out for some laps.

as so kindly mentioned by gordon, i'm too fat for a caterham. well, actually just too big in every way.

but i do intend to go racing in the elise. its not exactly a fair fight as the cars are different, but i dont mind giving gordon a pasting in a lowely elise
