Traffic Cop with Laser Gun Question...NLC

Just passed the big sign that says 'Welcome to Scotland' on the A1 yesterday afternoon and there was a traffic cop on a bridge pointing a laser gun at me.

Sneaky/clever (delete as you choose). If it's the bridge immediately north of the Border laybys, then there's already a Gatso in the central reserve approx 50yds further on. Possibly an attempt to spot drivers before they decelerate for the 'known' Gatso location?

That was exactly the one!

Think i'm ok from what's been said. Was definatley a hand held laser job.

Thanks for the call Campbell. Just been to see the Aden Park Administrator, and although he had not put any objection in to the Police, he would not be able to say that Luke had permission, as although the field is used by bike clubs etc, it is pre-booked through the office.

On the 'Welcome To Scotland' theme,I spotted these gentlemen one morning in Jedburgh, the Gateway to Scotland (via A68).

Guess they were just doing their job.
