As i'm a newbie I only met Tut a year ago,

Met him at Knockhill while my S1 was being re built. Popped down with a mate when I had some time off. We had been talking Honda's over PM and told him I would be heading down. When we got there I spotted the Bare Foot Ninja and introduced myself, we talked for a wee while then the Track opened. When I got home I had PM saying "Never seen you at Knockhill Alan, maybe catch you next time"......

As for Touching your Missus inapproriately, First time he met Jen he took her out her out in N3 around Knockhill. When she returned I asked "how was it" She said "Really Good Fun but he kept missing the Gearstick and accedently touching my leg"

We meet up fairly reguarly now, at Tut Towers (Where I always seem to catch a Roast Dinner) and at the NE Road Runs where I'm either pushing him out of a petrol station or a hedge.

Cheers
Alan

First met Tut on a NE run when I was a pax in Gareth's first orange S1 (2004?).

We were parked up in the main Banchory car park having a blether and I noticed him crouching down near Gareth's front wheel. Thinking he'd spotted something up with the tyre, I crouched down to see what he was looking at. That was when I realised he was happily having a piss

Not long afterwards, I picked up my first S1 and had a sweat inducing road run with Tut where I failed miserably to keep up. When stopped for a break, Gareth queried the flickering brake lights - it turned out that Tut had been accidently resting the side of his foot on the brakes. Oh and I found out that he'd not come out of sixth gear and was just cruising... I went away suitably chastened determined to get some driver training.

Never a dull moment since!

The Spanish Stelvio .... John Donaldson and I had hooked up with Tut after he got bored driving around with "the slow bunch" :-) We had what can only be described as an epic day thrashing through the last bits of France before my car developed a fatal coolant leak. Tut towed me from the valley up and over the top of a mountain and nearly all the way to the Spanish border using two jump leads attached to his roll over bar :-)

When he could no longer manage the clutch control (HondaRRRR poweRRR) and was ripping the jump leads, we left my car and he gave me a lift to the hotel to regroup. Pretty much as soon as we set off I noticed a terrible racket, that was worse when braking - sure enough the front left wheel was hanging off - the bolt that holds the bearing together was almost completely undone :-) Quick road side fix and off we go - how he had been driving all day on that without noticing I do not know - classic Tut :-)

Next again day when we had finally patched all the cars up came the infamous Porsche, Wallet and Police Evasion run to Toledo .... more on that another day.

I think the next installment will be "nudity".

Cheers,
Robin

Trying to find her name Paul, she had her boyfriends Scooby 22B which was souped up, and reckoned she was a racing driver. She was capable, but that was all.

Back at TT on Saturday there were around seven of us in the jacuzzi, usual suspects, and she was opposite me. Not sure how it happened, but she did use my big toe for purposes other than it was designed for.

I was talking to the lads, and in no way instigated it.

Thanks Robin, and you were not even in the Jacuzzi.

A certain well known car maker was though, and I think we were playing footsie.

As Alan said earlier, my first encounter with Tut was at KH, where he kept trying to touch my leg, while going to change gear (apparently!!) Had a few more including a roast dinner at Tuttowers with was yum, Amp3 and a caravan bonfire before our first run!! It was the sweeping up the leaves run in November and Craig and Charlenes friend, another Jen, came along and paxed with Craig. Within about 10 seconds of meeting, our beloved Tut suggested having a Jen sandwich! Never a dull moment with Mr D!

I need to bring this one up again.

I PM'd a few people a while ago, wondering if anybody had anything for me yet?

Anybody got any other stories on Dad?

Thanks

Apologies, Ian, I am sure I have plenty, just struggled to raid the memory banks to get the details right!

Can't be sure of my first meeting with The Old Geezer, but I do recall heading up to Old Deer whilst working in Aberdeen probably in 2000 or thereabouts, to swap drives in our Elises, with this relative newbie to SE. Although he was clearly older than Lawrence. At the time, he was beating his original Azure B&C 140 to within an inch of its 135 horses, although it had recently had an "Angelo" head fitted which did seem to pep things up a little.

I still cannot believe it, but for the one and only time, I swapped cars with Tut and he "showed me some routes" for an hour or two. Jeez.

I like to think of those times, when he had a more "standard" Elise, but this leads me to the day when he turned up at KH, ostensibly in the "same" Azure "std" S1, but with a slightly inexplicable glint in his eye. One giant-slaying trackday later, and we get to hear of the "regeneration" of the Azure B&C car into a QED (?) powered 180bhp mega-tuts conversion...oh yes, and the fact that the chassis number was actually also different thanks to an ill-timed sneeze, IIRC...

Another one...heading off on the Stelvio 2001 trip with new found "engine mapping skills"...laptop and connector cable packed...but chose not to bring a power cable because he didn't think he'd need more than a few mins of laptop time overall to swap maps occasionally. Needless to say the laptop died mid-upload outside a REALLY posh hotel in Caceres, although I can't say that N1 was running much differently afterwards ;-)

Happy days.

More later if I can piece it together.

Campbell

PS - other stories I'm aware of but others might flesh out a bit better:

- frightening Robin's nanny or cleaner, in the basement of Iddon Towers

- passing off a rare motoring indiscretion as the work of his long-departed buddy from the Kreplakistani Airforce

- generally trying to keep him in check, or on the right road, on all the Stelvios and Ring trips I've shared with him

- Robin and half the rest of the crew lying under his car in the hotel car park at the Ring in 2003 after he'd broken yet more bits...no-one else's car seemed to require this level of TLC
