Nicking the Disco has been a big problem this year. Granted the worst winter in 30 years.
I've used it for 3 weeks over the winter which means, kids can't get to playgroup, swimming lessons, docs appointment and Em can't make it to Tesco's...and a man's gotta eat!!

Driven a RS twice now. IMO they look great. Not rapid fast but a remap would sort that.
Sound great and will carry my clubs, bike and kids.

Exige looks mega and will be quick.

Nice problem to have I guess but getting bored of it.

Nice work Gareth! 8) :thumbsup

For bad weather the RS would benefit from some decent winter tyres; probably the narrower the better,.. which may be tough to achieve with the wheel size / brake size / wheel arch clearence...

The RS is very quick in the wet :thumbsup

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

A friend has an RS and it's pretty ferocious for being FWD. The gizmos the new one has make driving on the limit a pleasure, it kids you on that your the Stig. As mentioned above, even continues to perform in the wet.

He's got a few performance mods on it and steadily upping the power, with apparently limited reduction in handling/driving performance. Theres a local RS Owners club track night coming up where there will be a few running. Good opportunity to get a pax in one to see what its like maybe?

Certainly looks like the SE massive are leaning towards the RS (ironically) TBH, though, if you've got access to the S1 still, I think the positives of the Exige would be outweighed by the things it can't do for you - so it'd get sold in 3 months tops.

I see no reason for having use of an S1 and then buying an Exige that'd be used for the everyday stuff - nice car, but what's the point?

So, yup, another in the RS camp.

They look really good in blue (this suprised me as I lean towards green and white at the moment!)

I have a feeling Gareth wouldn't be buying a blue one though unless someone else is selling...?

So, I'm another one in the Ford camp - make it a green one 8)
