Tut has to be an obvious candidate but the nest thing about SE is posting some random question in the middle of the night, only to have an answer appear, often with schematics within a few minutes.
Or to post a plea for mechanical advice only for some grinning stranger to turn up at your house 15 minutes later with the appropriate tool!

So for his invaluable contribution to making SE a forum where questions are answered and encouraging the culture where we help each other I nominate Robin... (sorry Tut. Ok and Tut).
