Guy here at work with a fairly good Mk1 MR2, most of the welding has already been done, 12 months MOT yours for the bargain price of £1k

Cheers for the suggestions, all good stuff (except yours Scott, I'm not quite foolhardy enough for that yet

). I'm leaning more towards an FR configuration, just a bit of a change from MR... having said that, before I got the liz I was thinking of an RX-7 which is quite a different beast, so who knows what I'll end up with
Land rover defenders are quite nice, aren't they?...

I used to pay £250 fully comp age 24 on my tiger R6 (fab CF bodied caterfield "rip off")
300bhp per tonne, under 5 secs to 60. - great fun!
sold it for 9K, so second hand ones can be got cheap!!!!
