After having had about 10 front plates break/shatter/lost I have been without a front plate the last few months...

It doesn't need one in the garage... :wink:

My 2p:
Get a proper sized, spaced and postcoded plate - the hassle from pedantic coppers is not worth it.
Especially if you are in Aberdeen/Inverness area.

I ran a Mini with a sticker version of a standand number plate on the bonnet for ages with no probs (it was some time ago now though!) It had normal spacing, was reflective etc. Why cant you just do the same on the Elise?
