Graeme,

Really sorry to hear you are leaving, it will be a great loss for MMC as when you look at all you have done you have introduced a whole country to Lotus ownership :thumbsup

I will always refember my first foray into Lotus ownership, turning up in a Ford Puma and expecting to be turned away but you welcomed both Sandra and I into Lotus ownership and 2 Elise's and now an Evora we would struggle to look at any other marque.

Best of luck with your new venture :D

Cheers

Hi Graeme, sounds interesting, all the best. I was hoping to stop in for a chat when I dropped the car for a service the other week but was in a hurry and you were out on a test drive when I picked the car up. :cheers Lee

Also sad to hear you're going, Graeme, MMC will be losing much more than just a very talented salesperson.

All the very best for the new venture, whatever that entails (but for the sake of future Greg's wallet I hope its not in the world of exotic sports cars - you have a nack of making people part with their money very easily!)

Cheers,

Hi Graeme. Sorry to hear you are leaving MMC, but look forward to hearing all about your new adventure.
Can I just take this opportunity to thank you for making me see sense some years ago, by not buying a Lego Elise... and instead persuading me to have that lovely yellow 135R off your hands. That car is most definitely in my 'Glad I Owned' list, and that's down to you.
I may choose to forget the memory when the radiator literally blew up in my garage & I called you in blind panic though.

All the best :D
Andy.

Good Luck Graeme!

After buying 9 cars from you since 2004 (only 2 of those were non Loti - the R32 and my most recent purchase of the SLK last month), you're going to be missed but I'm sure you'll be able to sell us in to something you are selling next! I look forward to seeing what we could have sitting in our drive next year :D !

You've been fantastic over the years and like others on here, we've enjoyed spending a Saturday afternoon browsing and chatting in your showroom!

Look forward to hearing where you are next and I'll keep bringing in the cakes if you keep selling us our cars!!

Read his post carefully, Adam...I suspect it could well still be Graeme ;-)

Graeme, I think this must all be pretty bitter sweet for you just now but as you can see we have loved you almost as much as we have loved ourselves over the last 10 years, so welcome aboard with your own official logon at last!

As the old saying goes, people buy from people so looking forward to hearing what you are up to soon.

If it involves selling pre-owned Lotuses, you could have a long queue at your door as, let's face it, the brand new 'uns aren't going to be up to much (well not for a few years, and even then they'll be well beyond the reach of all but a minority of former Lotus customers).

Enjoy your leaving party and raise a glass to J M Jnr from me and my Mum (whom he also ensured "a really good deal for"...albeit on a Citroen, rather than a Lotus!!)

Campbell

PS - I will still drop by your new showroom, if you have one, just let me know :-)

Graeme,

All the best in your new role and a big thanks for getting me into two great cars. Hopefully will be able to keep in touch through your new lotus venture.

Gents, thanks again for all your kind words...and I promise not to keep you in suspense for too long. Now I'm on here I shall refrain of course from posting on certain topics...the "Spotted" section alone could be fairly filled up quickly....
