Every penny we

earn goes into the joint account, no questions asked about what it gets spent on because I always ask if I am allowed to before hand...... most of the time.....
Its often easier just to surrender all power to them at the start, you get used to it after 20 years.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

As I am not married accounts are seperate. I pay a set proportion of my wages into a seperate account* that pays all the bills and Ann gets the weekly shopping in as well as run the entertainment fund (shows/weekends away etc. ) maybe things will change should I ever get married (not likely) or we sell my flat and get a place together. but as it stands our current method works well so it's going to stay as it is.
*By far the best thing I have ever done.

Laura pays the mortgage, I pay the same into the joint account. Otherwise seperate.
She spends money on bees and saves every penny leftover, I have two cars to run and save when I can...

While we have several accounts to make moving money easier, it's all considered one big pot. What with nursery fees and mortgage etc theres not much left over to worry about anyway.

Whats hers, is hers
Whats mines, is hers.
Joint accounts for us. Alisons happy to look after all the regular bill paying, the planning to make sure we're not short for insurance renewals, the stashing away to make sure holidays are paid for etc etc... and she then flags up if we need to trim back on luxuries for a few months to stay on track.
It does mean that any big purchases need to get approval from the Financial Controller, but I can live with that if it means we are on top of things.
I have no signature.

Everything has always been joint, has worked for 20 years and never experienced anything else.
Big purchases require discussion but other than that if it's there and can be afforded spend it within reason. I figure this system has always worked in my favour for big ticket items but then she buys clothes and shoes like there's no tomorrow.
if evolution don't take care of it, redesign it

Mostly seperate here. Joint stuff for the house, seperate stuff for our individual ideas.
A joint account and my love for repairing / vupgrading Lotus & buying video games wouldn't go down well!

Recently had a financial divorce.
Which is working well, saving plenty but Jen has stopped finding those bargains or clothes she has had for ages.
