A mate had a 2.7 boxster and upgraded to 3.4 and then went for the 2.9.... For the road he gets more fun out of the smaller engines. Not hard rules, just depends what feels right for you.

Gareth , I'm currently looking at buying a Z4 coupe . Thought about going for the Z4M but kind of put of by the servicing etc you mentioned. Not had a chance to get a close look at the Z4M , do you know if there is much difference in the body work , quad exhaust aside ?

Most of the coupes I'm looking at have Msport Suspension , seats , steering wheel etc . I'm going to stick some CSLs on it also, so wondering if the extra 3-5 k for M is really worth it ?

Appreciate any advice you can offer .

Different Front bumper, Different bonnet, Different wheels, Am sure the skirts are different (I maybe wrong).

All the Si coupes come with Msport Suspension , seats , steering wheel :thumbsup Also get one with Sat Nav not that its good but will be harder to sell when the time comes.

Cheers

Hi Jamie,

You could always use an Indy for servicing?
Craig's probably right with the changes. The 3.0 si is not far off performance of the M but I'd still rather have an M.
I actually really do miss the Z4M. Perhaps rose tinted specs but it's a performance bargain, especially now.
Looks fab and 343bhp and now in the £17k-£20k bracket.
Sure I paid about £22kish for my 2006. Low miles with Nav.
Just make sure you buy one thats had the running in service. VERY IMPORTANT!
