Gareth: these :finger are for you!

Cheers guys.

Mac i have mentioned it to him, very kind but hes too old and probably wouldn't fit.

Thanks Ross but i think ill just stick with the bbs wheels, i quite like them. Dont want sticky tires, any suggestions?
It looks as though the centre caps are worth more than the wheels hence why they are missing.

Whats the black thing?

Not quite £500, it is a 1.8 after all.

@Dom i believe all Eunos have lsd as standard. The uk ones didnt come with lsd.

Just need to sort pads and rubber and fluids and im good to go. 8)

when i did the LOT trip to new zealand, we hired mx5's and gave them shedloads of abuse. Other than needing quite a few cool down laps, they were fine. I managed to boil all the coolant out of mine. We just waited for it to cool off, filled with tap water, and carried on. They were unbreakable :D

No worries!

I've got a set of T1R's on my standard rims - Although I understand they don't work as well on the MX5 on track, due to the 300kgs extra they weigh when compared to an Elise. (£35 a corner, though!!)

The favoured tyres for track day use, seem to be either Federal 595RS-R's (Although it's a sticky tyre) - http://www.tyretraders.com/tyreInformat ... 82W595RS-R

(Only £66 per corner!)

or Hankook RS2's - http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... b1866s93p0

The black thing's a Flyin' Miata turbo manifold - Picked it up in the states the other month whilst on holiday - Have 90% of the bits to supercharge mine, but have a Garrett T28 turbo (Good for 300+ bhp) lying around, so may well fit that in the future. :P

Good news, was thinking about Robin though and his enormous pine cone. Did the Dutchy who bought the S1 know about the built in pine smelling air freshener ?

When does "Paine Brothers Mobile Salon" commence operation?

Just teasing mate - can see us having a good laugh hunting out parts to get this "track ready" in the coming months.

I had one  (when i was 21) and I loved it (couldnt afford an Elise as i had just graduated). Gear change was simply superb. Very honda esk.

Power - well its needs more. But it will definately be a case of "flat out everywhere" :damnfunny

On this occasion may I respectfully request that the vinyl runs the entire lengthy of the car ?

I know that another SEer has recently taken ownership of a wide carriage vinyl machine and knows his stuff when it comes to vector images so there would be a cracking opperchancity.
