I think they get these days totally wrong. They must be hoping for offshore guys to come along or something. If they ever did one on a weekend they would gather way more potential customers.....and no matter what anyone says.....that's why they have these things!!

The idea with expensive cars is if you can afford one you are in a job were an afternoon off for a test drive is easily achieved. keeps the test pilot numbers down.andyc wrote:I think they get these days totally wrong. We used to have them during the week mainly because I was a one-man band and had to staff the Edinburgh showroom on a Saturday...! Obviously don't know the arrangements now I'm not there....

Agree to some extent with directors of larger companies when quite often they have senior managers below them or even staff below them are able to cover, or even they can cover with blackberry if rq'd.

Having sold high value items for the last few years, you would have to be very stupid to judge any potential customer by any of the means mentioned above!
