Transfering music from ipod to iphone4

I just found out recently that you can also file share music with other computers active on your wi-fi network.

Yup, although I don't think the other computers can access playlists on the master, which is a shame.

A neat product to share iTunes to other types of client is Mezzmo. I trialled it then bought it recently ($25) to serve photos, video and music from our desktop in the study to our Sony blu0-ray and telly in the lounge. It does present iTunes playlists to those devices, which is nice

My reason for the initial enquiry was related to my new micolight.
The seller told me he thought you could listen to iPod music through the headset when flying but hadn't looked into it. A friends son gave me an old iPod loaded with music. When I was pottering at the hanger I gave it a go on the ground and it worked. Yippe ... and the coms radio automatically cuts over the top of any music. I then realised I could use the same cable to connect the iPhone and some little black box somewhere means that I now have full iPhone function to make and receive calls which are clear as a bell at 100mph / 6000ft. Thanks to being able to transfer the music to the phone I was able to take off listening to Bat out of Hell then phone home to say it worked!!

Just had a great deal on a GoPro camera with Amp3 and getting some neat camera mounts made up for the wing so even more fun to be had
