I might just go to Zandvoort and Spa in a double header and then if you really want to spend more time in Europe spend the rest in the Alps. I'm sure lots of the other circuits are good, but for the Elise both Zandvoort and Spa are brilliant and that's probably enough for one week ...

Cheers,
Robin

You know, you are not kidding there.

However if I had anything to do with it, we would be including Spa. Even if we have to use this escape route to minimise our exposure :-)

All I can say is you are staying at the wrong places

Think this guy did all three in a week or so, you could fit in Estoril or Circuit de Catalunya on the way home to make it four. Must work harder & get myself booked on FF sometime for starters.
Those all look great. Forgot Ascari was in Spain - high in the hills in the south, I think? - and hadn't seen Portimao before. Liked the music too :-)

I realised this when watching Spa last weekend, particularly the v v wet practice session, and found myself thinking "wow, driven that, can remember vividly the way the track unfolds" etc :-)
;-)
ETA - however I realise it might not offer the value for money required on a £4k trip.
Would be better doing ex GP tracks from the 60's and 70's if you MUST do GP tracks.
Agree strongly. Give me a list...

Its a big ask to book circuits in europe if your not experienced and have 50 members willing to spend 4k on a holiday.
Quite. I'm allowed to dream, right?!

For a more reasonable tour, why not do a four nations tour of the united kingdom. Mondello in ireland, Anglesey in wales, Cadwell in england, and the kinlochleven loop (closed for maintenance )
You may be onto something there.

Well some of the big tracks are fun in a 211, but having a bit of danger ( that you get from the old tracks)is what makes them more fun and more rewarding when you get right.

Just North of Marbella so Estoril could be added to make 4 in pretty close proximity. What amazed me was how little traffic there was on track. I'm assuming they're regular open pit lane days. Music made a nice change from the usual clips with crappy sound quality which can get a bit tedious.

Sure a big ask to book for a group but with a bit of forward planning, booking onto to locally organised trackdays shouldn't be out of the question for a smaller numbers. As for the dreaming, soon as I pick those six numbers I'll get Carlitos Towers built somewhere within distance of a few tracks with enough garage space for an SE tour. I could rent Ford Pintos to tourists the rest of the time. Oh no, hang on.......... :cheers

Guadix. Nice.

Well, there lies an opportunity for the "Flying Flamenco" tour.

Pick up the P&O Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry (2 nights to endure the drinking and gambling this time), enjoy some ex-Stelvio 2001 mountain routes on the way down through Iberia, then do the same all the way back northward. Stay in the odd Parador en route. 4 quality tracks from the selection mentioned for Iberia so far. Fantastic.

Just been invited to Ascari on the 29th September, for a 1 day event by a client, however whilst he is subsidising some of it, he is looking for our companies to pay the remaining £1500. My Director has laughed it off and said "really you think I'll sign that off on your expenses, ha ha! More than my jobs worth!"
Just spoken to the client in question who is going to the head of the business unit today/Monday to see if approaching him direct will get sign off or not!

I suspect on the 29th September i will be spending the day wishing i was there, but i think i know what the final answer will be from above! :(

Cool, I'd offer to pay half. :)
