I check it about once a week, this board has the better more up to date stuff for a daily check.

I get the daily email digest and always scan through it. Some of the techy talk goes way above my head but makes a really intersting read all the same. Used to be 20 -30 emails in the digest per day. seems much less at the mo.

I have all the mails sent to my outlook and then they get filtered off to a folder.
Read them as much as I can as always good nuggets in there.
Check it daily.

I get the individual mails delivered to my work computer but I don't seem to get them all, some are replies to reply to a post that I never received!

Strange....

But agree, it's not the same as it was.
Wonder what S is Stu referring to, was it Scruffman?

May be... I don't honestly feel that he did anything major. Came along, did the usual Scuffham shyte and buggered off. But some folks may have paid him more attention than he deserved....

I remember when I posted on they yahoo asking if there was a decent forum in January 2005, and people said this existed but nobody used it. I think after a few months this was much busier as more folk used it. I think in total I have less than 10 posts on yahoo, its just too hard to be bothered keeping up with how it chucks posts at you.

Lots of interesting feedback.

Be sure to add your vote to the poll, just interested to see results.

No axe to grind...here I am, after best part of a year in the wilderness, posting more than I ever did in that period...and it's on SE2 !!

I was always strongly in favour of the simple, email digest option from SE1...in many ways I remain so, but am getting to know my way around this BBS and the helpful features it offers, and it's growing on me.

Eg, I could never have produced a writeup with inline pictures like I did for the Campaganza - or linked to it like this http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... c&start=45 as easily...so SE2 has its uses :-)
