Its only stealing cars from Aberdeen that's a trivial crime , im surprised you didn't get a custodial sentence

I am paying the fine and my opening statement was that there is no excuse.

Just miffed because I broke the law by accident and in a trivial way that had no effect on anyone. Any real crimes with real impact, e.g. the scrotes that stole my bumper or the people that broke into my Mum's house ... well they don't generate revenue so they're allowed to break the law with impunity. The punishment is dispassionate.

I'm all in favour of banning the apostrophe. Anyone caught using it will be issued an automatic £60 fine.

Apostrophe overuse is a greater crime.

For example on plural's or it's when it's not used as a shortened "it is"
