Definitely agree and also watched V didn't realise it was her. If you watched Homeland Series 1 she was naked in it.

"Heroes" never watched it , is it worth it ?

"Flash Forward" didnt work for me. Gave up.

.... i may watch too much TV :)
Heroes was really good but it continued into too many series, to the point nobody cared when it stopped.
Yep I think you do watch too much TV, do you have time to sleep ?

Certainly a list to consider watching a few off. I guessed Breaking Bad must be good based on the recent media coverage.

Breaking Bad was excellent.

Elementary is another favourite, Jonny Lee Miller is a fantastic Holmes.

The Returned is like a modern day Twin Peaks.

Just about to start 24 from the beginning myself, then boardwalk empire, mad men and Sopranos.

Could work through the following:

BBC Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, Life, Human Planet - All documentary nature stuff.
Boardwalk Empire - Godfather style gangster shenanigans (Brilliant)
Breaking Bad - Teacher turned Meth Cook (Brilliant)
Californication - Agent Moulder turns into a drug sniffing, alcholic, sex addict (Brilliant)
Dexter - Cop is a serial killer who only kills bad people (Brilliant)
Entourage - Group of guys from New York make it big as one of them chases an acting career in LA (Brilliant)
Fawlty Towers (Classic Brilliance)
Game of Thrones - Medieval war series following the events of a family (Brilliant)
Hannibal (yet to try but apparently scary and very good)
Homeland - Chasing terrorists (Good but the girl gets annoying)
Mad Men - About 1960 America with smoking alcohol etc (Good but so far not so full of action)
Misfits - Reprobate teenagers who gain superpowers (Brilliant and funny but maybe younger audience)
Nikita - Female Secret Agent (Girlfriend loves it)
Band of Brothers, Pacific - War Series (Yet to start it but apparently very good)
Prison Break - Genius who wishes to break his brother out of prison (Enjoyed it thoroughly)
Revenge - Girl who's father was framed seeks revenge on rich culprits (Enjoyed but still to catch up)
Rules of Engagement - Follows two couples, a rich sex addict and there day to day lives. (Brilliant, funny and a great time filler)
Spartacus - Roman Gladiator (Season 1 and 2 brilliant, 3 not so much as change of actor)
The Americans (Yet to start but heard very good things)
The Big Bang Theory - Sitcom with Geeks and a Hotty (Brilliant, funny and a great time filler)
The IT Crowd - IT guys in a large company (Brilliant, funny and a great time filler)
The Sopranos - Gangster Story (Brilliant)
The Walking Dead - Zombie Apocalypse (Brilliant)
The Wire ~(Yet to start, heard good things)
True Blood - Vampires live alongside humans, some good and some bad (Brilliant)
V - Aliens come to earth but not all is as seems (Brilliant)
Warehouse 13 - Artifacts with powers are collected by agents and stored away from society (Brilliant but cheesy)

Hope there is something there for you and for others to enjoy. Many hours of time killing there.

I'm currently watching Lost (season 2) so you can tell how up to date I am with such things!!

Also, didn't notice anyone say The West Wing
- lacking in the action department, but possibly my favourite TV series ever.
Studio 60 of the Sunset Strip is also amazing (possibly better) but was cancelled after 1 season (ends ok though..)

The Wire is increadible, The Corner is a sort of pre-cursor, but in a docum-drama style, with some similar characters. Worth a watch imo.

HBOs Generation Kill, 7 part mini-series about US Marines is decent too.
'16 MINI Cooper S - Family fun hatch
'98 Lotus Elise - Fun day car
'04 Maserati Coupe GT - Manual, v8, Italian...
'18 Mazda Mx5 - The wife's, so naturally my daily
'19 Ducati Monster 797 - Baby bike bike

Entourage - is great , light hearted easy to watch when you have 20 mins.
Misfits - S1 & 2 ok , downhill after.
Band of Brothers ... surly everyone has seen this now ? best series ever IMO. Watched it 20 + times !
The Wire - that's what kicked me off watching TV again, quality writing, acting , production. Superb.
Prison Break - S1 ok. Rubbish after.
Spartacus , War of the Dammed is pretty good. Bigger budget. Its like Walking Dead meets soft porn.
West Wing is a must.

Almost every one American.

I think West Wing was missed because it finished sometime ago, but one of the greats. Like wise Cheers and Friends. For those that have not seen it get hold of the original 1990 British House of Cards, Francis Urquhart at his best.

For some light entertainment you can't beat a bit of Big Bang Theory
S1 Elise - Shed spec
330d - Dog carrying spec
640d - Grown up spec
Astravan Sportive SE - Supervan spec

If you're referring to Big Bang Theory then I find it horibbly yank and unfunny.

The only saving grace is the blonde in the tight vests.

For fans of Band of Brothers , Masters of the Air , new from HBO.

"He might not be heading towards the Robopocalypse as fast as we all thought, but Steven Spielberg is not a man to rest for long. Some of the time he spends not shooting rampaging robots will be taken up executive producing a third World War II miniseries with Tom Hanks for HBO. This time, the pair is planning Masters Of The Air.

Following on from Band Of Brothers and 2010’s The Pacific, it appears we won’t have to wait nine years for another Spielberg/Hanks war joint. This time out they’re interested in the enlisted men of the Eighth Air Force, known colloquially as the Mighty Eighth.

The pair has the rights to Donald L Miller’s book Masters Of The Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought The Air War Against Nazi Germany, which follows the Mighty Eighth as they carried out bombing runs in France and Germany and engaged in air to air combat. The Eighth survives to this day as a key US fighting force.

It’s early days for the project: HBO is developing the idea along with Spielberg and Hanks, but it’ll be a while before we see it. Hopefully some of the regular collaborators on the last two miniseries –including Graham Yost, who now runs Justified – will sign on quickly now the props are beginning to spin."
