Is the track layout and run offs exactly the same for F1 as it was when we were there?

tut
Yep same track layout etc, the only thing that changed a few years ago was the bus stop and the run off at turn 1 never used to be there. Saw a few bad crashes there on trackdays before they moved the wall back.

Yesterday's wet qualy was amazing to watch, some unbelievable driving. 8)

Some of my most memorable euro trips were Spa and Ring trips. 8)

Not that I timed it Tut, but I was told I was lapping around 3mins in the Elise by the end of the day.

Nico was a bit naughty - getting plenty of abuse... I'm not entirely sure he was as bad as everyone else thinks.

Shame for Hamilton - things were set for a decent race till that happened.

Whether Rosberg meant it or not is immaterial. Who is the one to bitch again in public. Mr Hamilton. He just cannot help himself. It was bound to happen anyway. How many times has Hamilton slammed the door on his team mate this season and relied on him to back off...This time Rosberg got it fractionally wrong and Hamilton got shafted. No sympathy. Take it like and man and get on with it. Hamilton has immense natural talent, more than Rosberg impo but he just cannot get his mind or mouth under control. Roll on Monza....

I thought his after race interview was actually quite good as he'd had time to calm down. Most of what he said made sense.

We have a great crop of new drivers.

Bottas currently my fave, but Ricciardo, Grosjean, Hulkenberg all fighting to be the best of the best.

Not sure Jenson will be there next year ( think he is still suffering the loss of his old man )

I wonder what we'd all be saying if Lewis didn't get a puncture and Nico ended up with the broken wing? Would people think he got his just deserts for being clumsy with the move?

What I don't get is why he had to make that move at that point in the race? Worst case he took both cars out, best case was probably what happened. Sit under the gearbox and wait for DRS to enable, surely? It was a shame Lewis didnt make any progress through the field, probably given it all happened so far from the pits and it's a long lap. i can't say I was that impressed with the radio snippets of him just wanting to give up.
