I did see that. Our problem is we won't be in the room or even the hotel for long enough to appreciate the stay.

The time we get down after work on the Friday it will be dinner a few drinks and then off to bed. Early start off to Blair Drummond. So no real point in staying in a nice hotel this time

What about Doune Scotty?

i have stayed in the Woodside a few times whilst down racing,

its not expensive, clean, has a nice bar and serves proper pub grub

i have not been for 2 years but it was always decent enough in the 4 or 5 times i stayed there.
