I did see that. Our problem is we won't be in the room or even the hotel for long enough to appreciate the stay.

The time we get down after work on the Friday it will be dinner a few drinks and then off to bed. Early start off to Blair Drummond. So no real point in staying in a nice hotel this time

i have stayed in the Woodside a few times whilst down racing,

its not expensive, clean, has a nice bar and serves proper pub grub

i have not been for 2 years but it was always decent enough in the 4 or 5 times i stayed there.

Blair Drummond has plenty accommodation with "all you can eat" fruit and veg

I can highly recommend Old Churches House in the centre of Dunblane.

Got a room and dinner booked at the old Churches for the Friday, going up to Crieff on the Saturday for a night out with the Still game old boys.
