I don't think they'll have moved that far north? Most of the police cars seem to spend their time trundling around the local villages in the central highlands now...

The number of times that I have driven those roads, but of course you never see the true beauty of them from road level as you do from above.
One thing that did strike me though is that the cars were being driven way in excess of 60, would love to know what speeds they did reach, and it was all in the public domain. Would the police not take notice of that, or is it that they would not be able to prove anything as no figures are shown on the dials?
The Cayman may be a great car, but the Ferrari or McLaren for me.

I've seen news articles of young guys getting done for posting videos online of them drifting around corners when it's very quiet or in very remote locations. As much as I love this video, it's fine for these guys to drift on the public road because they're not chavs?! Just to be clear, I'm Just playing devils advocate and I would absolutely not want anything to happen to these guys as a result of this video.

It got to the part where the GT3RS was hammering along when I began to think the same. If the BiB get this, then this could affect the amount of leeway we get.
I still recall my 1st TT on the Sunday morning, when four of us made a quick 'nature' stop north of Sheil Bridge - local bobby pulled in to see why four Elises had all stopped. Once we all walked out of the trees, he smiled and told us to take care on the roads - not sure how lenient they are now going to be

They had the backing from the council/ tourist board so I would assume they would have got permission/ permit to film/ photograph the cars in "action"......it will encourage others to try the same though no doubt...

NC 500 looked great in the Evo vid. Country file less so... still spectacular, but did not make me want to rush out to it quite so much... as the lass struggled through the wind and hail.

I only say that because back in March when I did a group test with them they were very concious of the filming and pictures being of legal speed etc and within the rules of the road as its not worth thier jobs to be done/disqualified for driving offences etc when testing the cars. It could be possible that they closed the sections of road for them to get the shots as they do when filming movies etc and therefore "normal" regs arent applicable.....Just what i would like to think was the case and only my opinion because if not then they would be open to some scrutiny over it and no doubt will be in next months issue when someone writes in to complain
