I don't pay too much attention to much attention to the invoices, but the labour rate and time charged for most jobs seems reasonable. Andrew mentioned someone had asked for a quote to replace the heater matrix. He's not done one on an Elise before, so may have based the estimate on the VX... which has a huge servo and ABS hardware above it, and it's a real pig to remove, never mind fit a replacement.
It might be worth giving him a call to discuss. I think they only charged 3 hours labour to fit Lotus hubs, fit Yokohamas to my Speedlines and mount the wheels... when originally he'd expected it to need a full day.
