Never buy clothes. If it's too big it's "Are you saying I'm fat?" if it's too small it's "are you saying I'm fat?" and seeing as every shop she goes into they are all different size standards I gave up.

Music/DVD etc is much safer, jewelry if your feeling brave or something for the house that she keeps talking about and wants but won't buy cos she is too mean (Breadmaker in Laura's case)

My girlfriend, with her outlandishly expensive tastes, wants jewellery only from Tiffany’s in New York or (and) Agent Provocateur underwear that makes Elise mods look bloody cheap…£200 quid for fcuking pants!!! At least I get some pleasure from the last items though :D

Hmm...that last bit doesn't sound right...to clarify, the pleasure does not involve me wearing them

Scott, don't go with Dolphin...you are paying through the nose for convenience...as you've found out. Avoid all these bathroom companies, source things yourself and then get a decent plumber. That way you can then buy much better quality components, fixings, tiles etc.

I'm just about to get oil central heating installed by a local plumber on Monday, I can give you his details if he does a good job.
